RISE appointed to undertake culture Review of East of England Ambulance Service
RISE has been appointed to support the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) in helping them build a stronger working culture. Our team is delighted to be working with one of the largest ambulance trusts in England and will be undertaking a culture review of multiple stations across a region that serves over 6.3 million people in Bedfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.
Our appointment comes after the Care Quality Commission served a warning notice for EEAST due to poor performance and cultural issues.
Commenting, RISE Director Matt Baker said it was an honour to be supporting paramedics in helping to build a stronger culture across all ambulance stations.
“This is the second culture review we have undertaken in the emergency services, following our review of London Fire Brigade,” he said. “That led to sweeping changes and we are looking to provide paramedics with the same support. They have one of the most demanding, dangerous and stressful jobs - and we want to ensure they operate in the safest and most supportive working environment so they can deliver the best services for patients.”
